Lateral Scooter

Keep one foot on the platform, one on the carriage. Knee stays bent over the platform as the carriage leg scooters. Arms come to an overhead extension.

  1. Hold the deepest position.
  2. Small carriage pulses to finish.

1B, 1Y.

Down or up.

Inhale to open, exhale to close carriage.

Heighten body awareness, balance, and coordinated movement. Develop muscular strength in gluteals, adductors, and abductors.

  1. Optional platform extender.
  2. Option to add dumbbells for rows or tricep work. Light weights can be used for overhead extension.
  3. Option to add PILAT3S ball for overhead extensions or combinations.

Progression: More springs.

Regression: Less springs – kneeling splits.
